Kinetic Pilot Client Install Instructions

When your User account is active in the Kinetic Pilot environment, you will receive notification from the Epicor system administrator..

...

1. Use this link to download and install the Kinetic client.

   1. In the system tray, click CAL-KineticClientInstall.exe
      

      

   2. Note: If you see a message that the file is dangerous, follow the steps at the bottom of this topic.

2. After you run the EXE to install the Kinetic Client, find the “Epicor Software” folder on your desktop. 
   

   

3. Open the “Epicor Software” folder, then …

   1. Open folder Kinetic 2021.1 Client

   2. Open folder calkinetic.ctdcloud.com

   3. Right-click KineticPilot Environment, then Send To > Desktop.

4. Find the KineticPilot Environment icon on your desktop.

   Double-click it to complete the install. 

5. Then logon using the User ID and password that was emailed from the Epicor system administrator.

1. If you see … is not commonly downloaded and may be dangerous.

   1. Click the up arrow to the right of Discard and select Keep.

   2. Click the file name to launch the loader.

2. If you see … is dangerous and has been blocked

   1. Open your Downloads folder and find the file name starting with “Unconfirmed .”.

   2. Rename that file to “CAL-KineticClientInstall.exe”.

   3. Double-click the CAL-KineticClientInstall.exe file to install the client.

3. Go to Step 2 and complete the client install.
