1. Use this link to download and install the Kinetic client.

   1. In the system tray, click CAL-KineticClientInstall.exe
      

      

   2. Note: If you see a message that the file is dangerous, follow the steps at the bottom of this topic.

2. After you run the EXE to install the Kinetic Client, find the “Epicor Software” folder on your desktop. 
   

   

3. Open the “Epicor Software” folder, then …

   1. Open folder Kinetic 2021.1 Client

   2. Open folder calkinetic.ctdcloud.com

   3. Right-click KineticPilot Environment, then Send To > Desktop.

4. Find the KineticPilot Environment icon on your desktop.
   

   

   
   Double-click it to complete the install. 

5. Then logon the Kinetic Pilot environment as instructed in the Welcome email, bypass Current Password and set the password you prefer.

If you get a message that the file is dangerous, don’t worry, the file is not dangerous. Follow the steps below

1. If you see … is not commonly downloaded and may be dangerous.

   1. Click the up arrow to the right of Discard and select Keep.

   2. Click the file name to launch the loader.

2. If you see … is dangerous and has been blocked
   

   

   1. Open your Downloads folder and find the file name starting with “Unconfirmed .”.

   2. Rename that file to “CAL-KineticClientInstall.exe”.

   3. Double-click the CAL-KineticClientInstall.exe file to install the client.

3. Go to Step 2 and complete the client install.
