When adding a new component (or template), moving the cursor up/down before placement will determine the mounting type. There are various ways to change mounting type after the component is in your Design Zone.

Properties [Comp]’ menu and changing the ‘Mounting Type’ under the ‘Construction’ heading, as shown to the right. You can apply this change to multiple components if desired.

 

CHANGE MOUNTING TYPES FOR MULTIPLE COMPONENTS

The program offers additional ways to globally change all components within a design to either wall or floor mounted at once using the ‘Set All to Floor/Wall Mounted’ feature. This is an easy way to show a customer the difference in cost or appearance between the two options. It is recommended to first make a copy of the design so you always have the original to revert back to.

This is important to be aware of, as a customer may require a very specific hang height for items, which has now been compromised. Either adjust the height of the poles, or simply click on the warning to make it disappear.
