Poles are just one of the many parts that can be are added to a component from the Shelf & Pole part pull down. The method of adding a hanging pole remains the same whether is user is creating a single hang, double hang, triple hang, combination component, etc.

Select Hanging Pole from the part pull down and move the curser cursor over an existing component.

Take notice to the spacing above/below a pole to and set it at the desired height based on the use (single, double or triple hang; short, medium or long hang). The hang height can be determined by measuring the client’s clothing at the consultation.

Left click to place the pole. Continue to add additional poles until right clicking to turn the function off.

A pole can be is moved in four ways. Use any of these methods to move the pole either within the same component , or into another component. Note that the pole will turn yellow when it is ready to be selected.

1. Right click > Move.

2. By double clicking on it Double click and hold to “drag” it up & down.

3. Using the + and - buttons.
This will move the pole up/down the individual 32mm system holes.

4.By double clicking Double click on the dimension & typing type in a new measurementnumber.
This works best from the bottom hanging pole, as other parts may get in the way.

A hanging pole automatically comes with a fixed shelf two spaces above it. This shelf will typically move with the hanging pole. If preferred, the shelf above the pole can be moved independently using the + and icons on the shelf.

Delete a pole by right clicking and selecting Delete. Multiple parts can be deleted at once by selecting Shift and clicking on multiple parts to select and right click to delete or hit Delete on the keyboard. To deselect, click elsewhere on the elevation view or hit Esc on the keyboard.

HANGING POLE PROPERTIES

To edit polesa pole, right click and select Properties [Part]. This is where the user users can adjust the pole’s pole style, finishesfinish, position, drilling and dimensions, etc. Some of these fields do not need editing - The ones mentioned below are the ones users would a user is likely to make changes to.

The pole style and finish determine just that. They are coordinated and may include additional fields such as Accent (shown) which allows the user to select the finish for the edge-banding on the front of the pole.

Finish and style changes may be visible in the Elevation or 3D view, or both.

Keep in mind that these shelves are structural, so they are required in most cases. If you have a triple hang section, that is one scenario where you may be able to remove one of the shelves. Always ask your sales manager or plan reviewer if you have any questions about design/construction.

Use the Apply properties to..options to apply changes to other like parts. Ensure the box to the left of the field is checked.
