The Generic obstruction can be used to create any obstruction that doesn’t have an existing option in the pulldown. For instance, to draw This may include alarm boxes, electrical panels, soffits, ductwork or pipes, etc (note that they will always be square).
Users may also see additional obstructions that behave the same way (some examples shown on the right).
First, enter the horizontal and vertical dimensions to match the object based on the measurements from the consultation. For example, the object may be an alarm box that is 12” wide, 15” high, and 3” deep(how far does it protrude from the wall).
It is highly suggested that the user enter to include a text notewith a generic obstruction so there is clarity for the designer, client and installer.
