Filler is a side treatment that can be used for aesthetic purposes, or to fill in gaps between components and walls (especially with uneven walls). They are typically required when designing with wall-to-wall backing or when a component containing doors, drawers, hampers or other pull-outs is next to a side wall. Filler is always added AFTER placing components in the design zone. Filler is often added with scribe.

Users can use the same method to quickly turn all fillers off. Just select None as the option.
Info |
---|
Filler has a minimum and a maximum width, and it will not add it to a component if the space is outside of those parameters. This will vary by location. |
Filler can be turned on or off for a single partition in the Properties [Part]. If selecting Auto in the pulldown, it will auto-fit the filler to the available space if it is within the set parameters. If selecting On in the Options pulldown, users must manually type in a width for the filler. Filler can also extend beyond the Design Zone, if entering a number wider than the available space.
