Filler is a side treatment that can be used for aesthetic purposes, or to fill in gaps between components and walls (especially with uneven walls). They are typically required when you have designing with wall-to-wall backing or you have with a component containing doors or drawers in a component next to a side wall.

If adding filler to most of your the design, it is easiest to add it on a global scale. This is done AFTER adding your components. In the ‘Options’ Options section of the ribbon toolbar, left click the ‘Filler’ drop down tab and select ‘Filler’.
