Delete a pole by right clicking and selecting Delete. Multiple parts can be deleted at once by selecting Shift and clicking on multiple parts to select and right click to delete or hit Delete on the keyboard. To deselect, click elsewhere on the elevation view or hit Esc on the keyboard.

HANGING POLE PROPERTIES

...

To edit a pole, right click and select left click on the pole to access Properties [Part]. This is where users can adjust the pole style, finish, position, drilling, etc. Some of these fields do not need editing - The ones mentioned below are the ones a user is likely to make changes to.

The pole style Style and finish Finish determine just that. They are coordinated and may include additional fields such as Accent (shown) which allows the user to select the finish for the edge-banding on the front of the pole.

Finish and style changes may be visible in the Elevation or 3D view, or both.

...

Mount Type determines how the pole is attached in the component. Cup is a traditional style pole that is mounted to the partition with cups. Suspend/Support will have the pole hang from a fixed shelf. This is often called a Virtuoso pole.

While rare, if you need to remove the shelf above the pole, the best practice is to uncheck the box to the right of Shelf Above under the Misc heading.

...

Keep in mind that these shelves are structural, so they are required in most cases. If you have a triple hang section, that is one scenario where you may be able to remove one of the shelves. Always ask your sales manager or plan reviewer if you have any questions about design/construction.
