Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times when handling material and operating the power tools mentioned throughout this process. Review the PPE Matrix for further guidance. |
Double check measurements of the bottom shelf and bottom cap. Align the route in the top of the bottom cap with the VBs on the bottom shelf.

Dry fit the bottom cap.

Place the bottom cap below the bottom shelf and clamp it into place.
Using an 18-gauge nail gun, place 1 1/4” nails from the bottom shelf into the bottom cap to secure it into place.
Place 1 1/4” screws from the bottom fixed shelf into the bottom cap. Screws should be placed at each partition.

Screws must always be used to secure a bottom cap. Using only nails will not suffice.
Cover the screws with fast caps or wax them.
Ensure the bottom cap is secure.

Double check measurements of the width of the system and the top cap.
Dry fit the top cap.

Place the top cap in position.
Attach the top cap.

Touch up nail holes.

If Applicable:Prepare the partitions with a Rafix pin for the toe kick.
Once the system skeleton has been completed, place the toe kick according to the elevation.

Secure the toe kick in place.

Touch up nail holes.

If Applicable:Prepare the partitions with a Rafix pin for the faceplate.
Once the system skeleton has been completed, place the faceplate according to the elevation.
