Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must beworn at all times when handling material and operating the power tools mentioned throughout this process. Review the PPE Matrix for further guidance.

  1. Locate where the accessory is to be installed.

  • An accessory is typically indicated with a letter on the elevation.

  • If there are any concerns, consult with the design consultant or your manager.

  • Assess if there are system holes at the installation location. If there are not, check if there are system holes on the other side of the par you can drill there.

    • If there are no holes on either side of the par, you will need to pre-drill before installation of the accessory.

  • Ensure the accessory you have is for the correct side of the component (left/right).

  1. If Applicable: Mark and drill holes.

  • Make marks for where screws will be placed according the location of the accessory. The location is determined by the location indicated on the elevation, or by the customer’s preference.

  • Drill any necessary holes needed to mount the accessory using a 3/16” or 5mm bit.

  1. Organize the accessory.

  • Separate the accessory into the 2 separate pieces: the track and the accessory itself.

  1. Mount the track.

  • Mount the track with the open end facing the front of the component.

  • For valet rods: Mount the track with the capped end facing the front of the component.

  • 2 euro screws are needed and are to be inserted in the system holes or pre-drilled holes.

  1.  Attach the accessory and cap the ends.

  • Slide the accessory into the track and slide it all the way in.

  • Pull it all the way out to test functionality.

  • For all accessories other than a valet rod: Snap the provided black cap into the front end of the accessory to give it a clean finish.  This also provides a stopping point for when it is pushed back in.

  2. If there are no more components to install, remove all stickers/labels.

  3. If there are no more components to install, complete the clean up process.

  4. If there are no more components to install, complete the Professional Installation Experience by walking through the space with the customer and deliveringthe final product.
