Remember, if changing from off-the-floor to a to-the-floor system, filler may need to be added on the components next to the wall. This may also require changing component widths to accommodate. |

Globally Change Mounting Types
The program offers additional ways to globally change mounting type for all components within in a design to either wall or floor mounted at once using the ‘Set All to Floor/Wall Mounted’ feature. This is an easy way to show a customer the difference in cost or appearance between the two options. It is recommended to first make a copy of the design so you always have the original remains in case users need to revert back to.
...
Click on the ‘Settings’ Settings tab in either the ELV or 3D view. From the ‘Unit Mounting Type’ section of the ribbon toolbar, select ‘Set All Floor Mounted’ or ‘Set All Wall Mounted’.
Note the differences in the two images below.
Note:
When switching to a wall mount, cleats may automatically be added unless you turn the feature off in component properties, under ‘Construction’ – But note that cleats are required in many situations. When the ’Auto Update Height’ the Auto Update Height feature box is checked, it will lock the height of certain parts (such as hanging poles) when the kickplate toe kick is added. This ensures that the distance between the hanging pole and the floor , or (the hang height, ) remains the same. However, this will change your the top shelf height to accommodate.

When switching to a wall mount, support cleats may automatically be added depending on par length. |
When the Auto Update Height feature box is left unchecked, the top shelf height does not change when you switch switching mounting types, and a warning symbol (below) is displayed will display to indicate the height under the hanging has changed. \Either adjust the height of the poles, or simply click on the warning to make it disappear.

Note |

This is important to be aware of |

as a customer may require a very specific hang height for items, which has now been compromised. |
