Overview

We’ve created this guide on how to set up your Samsung Galaxy Tablet

for use in the field. These tablets deliver to you ready to enroll, so all you have to do is log in with your Cal Closets work account during setup, and many of the configuration steps will take plate automatically.

Please unbox your tablet and insert it into the protective case. Then follow the steps below to get up and running.

Getting Started with your new tablet

Tablet registration

1. Power on the tablet

2. Once you see the Welcome screen, tap Start to being the setup process.

3. Agree to the terms

4. Tap Use Wi-Fi to proceed

5. Select Set up manually

6. Select a Wi-Fi network and enter the password

7. The tablet will then check for updates and run through a few screens

2. You will then see an Enrollment page, tap Next

3. Wait for this screen to disappear

4. Tap Continue on this screen to enroll the device

5. You may see a few more screens as the device enrolls

6. Then tap Next when prompted

7. Accept the Google Services tap More

8. Then tap Accept

9. Wait for updating device to complete

10. A Microsoft login screen will appear. Please log in with your Cal Closets work account

11. Verify MFA when prompted

12. Then you should see a Registering device screen. Wait for this to clear.

13. Then tap Set a screen lock to create a

1. PIN

2. Select PIN and enter a 6-digit PIN to unlock the tablet. You can use any PIN you wish, but make sure it’s something you’ll remember.

3. Then tap Install Work Apps

4. Work apps will automatically install. Then tap Done

5. Finally, tap Register your device

6. Tap Sign In on the next screen

7. You may be prompted to enter your Cal Closets Microsoft password again. And another MFA request.

8. Once signed in, tap Register on the next screen

9. Tap Continue on this screen

10. Then tap Done on the next screen after the registration process complete

11. You are now done with the registration process and should see the home screen

Home screen setup

1. Once you are on the home screen, you can add work apps to your home screen

2. Swipe up on the screen to access your app menu, then press and hold an app until you see the option to Add to Home

3. You can drag the app to your home screen to customize it how you’d like

Installing new apps

1. Open the Play Store on your home screen to view the list of all available apps to download

2. Tap on an app and then tap Install

3. Once installed, you’ll see it in your All Apps menu (swipe up from home screen)

4. You can tap and hold to move it onto your home screen if desired
