When adding a new component, moving the cursor up or down before placement will determine the mounting type. There are various ways to change mounting type after the component is in a design zone.

1 | Quickly change an off-the-floor component to a to-the-floor by hovering near the bottom of the component until an arrow appears. The arrow will turn green when ready to be clicked.

2 | Switch back and forth between component mounting types by going into the Properties [Comp] menu and changing the Mounting Type under the Construction heading. This change can be applied to multiple components if desired using the Apply To options.
