If making a change to a field in a Properties [X] dialogue box (walls, parts, components, design zones, etc.) it will only make that change to that a single item.

However, the user can utilize the Apply Properties feature to quickly apply any change to others of the same type. This means that the user does not have to individually change the line item in each property box!

For a property change to be applied, you must first make the change in your appropriate field (ie. the style of a pole from round cover cap to accent), and then ensure the box to the left of the changed field is checked. Remember, the boxes to the right will always turn that field on/off.

Some fields are automatically checked, while others need to manually be checked on or off - This is based on which properties are most likely to be applied by the user.

Once the box is checked, apply the properties to other like items or types using the Apply Properties To…  buttons at the bottom of the property menu.

ROOM: Applies the change to all the same type in the whole design.

WALL: Applies the change to the same types in the same Design Zone.

COMP: Applies the change to the same types within the same component.

SELECT: Allows you to left click on the specific types the user want the change to apply to.

Some of the options may be disabled depending on what type of property dialogue is in use. For example, if making changes on an island plane <LINK>, the options would be different. Sometimes, certain options may also be disabled for selection.

ISLAND: Applies the change to both sides of an island plane.

PLANE: Applies the change to just the current side of the island plane.
