Overview

We’ve created this guide on how to set up your Samsung Galaxy Tablet so you’re ready to start working. Please unbox your tablet and insert it into the protective case. Then follow the steps below to get up and running.


Getting Started with your new tablet

Tablet registration

  1. Power on the tablet

  2. Once you see the Welcome screen, tap Start to being the setup process.

  4. Tap Use Wi-Fi to proceed

  5. Select Set up manually

  6. Select a Wi-Fi network and enter the password

  7. The tablet will then check for updates and run through a few screens.

  8. You will then see an Enrollment page, tap Next

  9. Wait for this screen to disappear

  10. Tap Continue on this screen to enroll the device

  11. You may see a few more screens as the device enrolls

  12. Then tap Next when prompted

  13. Accept the Google Services tap More

  15. Wait for updating device to complete

  16. A Microsoft login screen will appear. Please log in with your Cal Closets work account

  17. Verify MFA when prompted

  18. Then you should see a Registering device screen. Wait for this to clear.

  19. Then tap Set a screen lock to create a 6-digit PIN

  20. Select PIN and enter a 6-digit PIN to unlock the tablet

  21. Then tap Install Work Apps

  22. Work apps will automatically install. Then tap Done

  23. Finally, tap Register your device

  24. Tap Sign In on the next screen

  25. You may be prompted to enter your Cal Closets Microsoft password again. And another MFA request.

  26. Once signed in, tap Register on the next screen

  27. Tap Continue on this screen

  28. Then tap Done on the next screen after the registration process complete

Apps and Setup

While your iPhone setup is now complete, we strongly recommend that you set up your Microsoft Authenticator app for the best experience possible. Setting up the Authenticator app on this new device will help speed up the login to your other Microsoft apps, including Outlook.
