Installation Steps

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times when handling material and operating the power tools mentioned throughout this process. Review the PPE Matrix for further guidance.

For non-pre-drilled, is there a jig or direction?

  1. Separate and install drawer runners.

Click for visuals and more information
  • Take all runners you have and separate them by left and right. Refer to the R and L markings on the drawer runners to assist in identifying their sides.

  • Set them in place where they go.

  • Line up the runners with the pre-drilled holes on the partition and screw them in place.

  • The 4th hole from the front of the runner should align with the front pre-drilled hole on the partition.

  1. Install the drawer box.

  • Pull the drawer runners out and set the drawer box on top, aligning the runners with the grooves on the bottom of the box.

  • Close the drawer to allow the runners to click into place

  • Test functionality by opening and closing the drawer twice.

If the runners have not clicked into the drawer box, grab the runners from underneath with your fingers and your palms touching the drawer face.  Squeeze together until the runners click into place.

  1. Repeat Step 2 for all drawers in the stack and system.  When installing a stack of drawers, install them from bottom to top. - How does this change for side-by-side

  1. Adjust and test.

 Click for more information
  • Once every drawer is installed in the stack, adjust all boxes so they line up from top to bottom with an 1/8” (3mm) gap between each face.

  • Adjust your vertical seams first, then adjust your horizontal alignment. Lastly adjust the in/out of the drawer face.

  • Work from the top to bottom and ensure all gaps are equal between all adjacent drawers and doors
