Some issues that might be corrected by Clear Client Cache in Epicor are listed at the bottom of this topic.

In Standard Layout:

  1. On Home Screen, click the Settings button

  2. In the Settings screen, click on Clear Client Cache

  3. Log out of Epicor and then log back in


In Classic layout:

  1. At top of screen, click Options

  2. Click on Clear Client Cache

  3. Log out of Epicor and then log back in

If Clear Client Cache does not resolve the issue, delete the C:\ProgramData\Epicor folder, which contains the temporary files.

Here are some issues that might be corrected by Clear Client Cache in Epicor

  • A report run to Print Preview does not appear.

  • Session with SessionID = … is invalid.  Session has either timed out or has been deleted.  You must login again to continue.

    • For this issue, also verify that the User does not have multiple Epicor sessions open.

  • “Cannot access this menu item” error even though access permission is granted.
