You can easily change the type of component in your design by selecting a differemt option from your ‘Templates’ library. You can also use the Dynamic Copy feature to paste over any existing components in a similar manner. Both features behave in a similar way.
Click on a template, or make a Dynamic Copy of an existing component, and hover over an existing component. Left click to “drop” the template on top of the existing component to replace it with the new one.
In the example below, a double hang comp is replaced by a shelving comp in one quick motion. The template or dynamic copy will automatically adjust to the width and depth of whatever component it is replacing.
