It is important for users to understand how to property select various items in CAD and how to make edits to selected items, whether it be walls, design zones, obstructions, components or parts.
Select Items
Hover state light blue, select state is darker blue.
When add part, automatically goes into selected state and properties will appear in docked menu.

Property Menus
The Properties menu holds detailed information and is where the user can make changes specific to it’s dedicated item. There are property menus for walls, design zones, components, obstructions, parts - Almost every item in the program!
Users can access the properties by single clicking on an item, or right click and select “Properties [ITEM]”.
