The board tool is used to create manual panels, fabric boards, and track walls. They are best placed on an empty section of wall , or between components or shelves where it’s not completely closed.enclosed (where the applied panel tool may be more appropriate).

Select the Board option in the ribbon toolbar. Hover over the desired location and click and drag a box to create the board in the desired size.

Boards move and delete like others parts.

Double click on the board to move it to a new location.

NoteIf , or click and drag the nodes on the perimeter to resize it. They can also resize using the nodes surrounding the board or type on the dimensions that surround the board in Elevation view (see left).

Note

There will be a “Panel too tall/wide” warning if the board is too large for the current or default material, there will be a “Panel too tall/wide” warning.

If placing or moving a Board where board, and it interferes with a component, /part or /design zone, the user will receive see a warning X. Move or resize the board for the warning to disappear.

The default option for the board tool is a manual panel, which can be used to add a piece of board material to a specific area or section of the wall (perhaps like between a lower cabinet and upper cabinet).

BOARD PROPERTIES

To edit, right click to go into the board’s Properties [Board].

The Style of board is where the user can switch from a Manual Panel(the default) to a Fabric Board or Fusion Track Wall. The menu will change slightly depending on the style. 
The Finish will change depending  The Finish options depend on the Styleselected style. Rotate Grain will change the direction of the pattern, if applicable and depending on material sizes.

Users can type in specify a specific Width and Height for the board. They can also resize using the nodes surrounding the board or type on the dimensions that surround the board in Elevation view (see right). The distance from wall or floor can also be edited using either method.

Display All Dims turns these dimensions on or off.
