Virtuoso is a cantilevered shelving system that uses slotted brackets to hang on a vertical foundational piece. The foundational supports are covered with vertical backing, and shelving is added in front of the backing pieces. The shelving material is only available in thicker 1.125”+ materials and the system is available in three standard depths.

Classic parts can be added to the a Virtuoso system but are handled slightly differently, most notably with doors and drawers, as they are always inset. Many Classic accessories are not compatible with Virtuoso due to the horizontal nature of the design – Very few vertical pieces are used.

To add a virtuoso component, right click on an empty section of the Design Zone and select Add Virtuoso Comp.
Place the virtuoso component where desired. Note the dimensions on either side to help place or center the component, or move it afterwards. If adding multiple virtuoso components next to each other, they will automatically join together.

Note
Virtuoso components may look and be installed different than the classic component yet adding and adjusting them in ClosetCADPro are very similar to classic systems. They move, center, array, etc. like other components, and materials are selected the same way.

If wanting to place shelving behind a set of doors, place the door prior to adding shelves that will sit behind it. Users can add shelves individually or as a multi-shelf group, and they behave much like shelving in a Classic component.
