Cleat hooks are hooks mounted to a piece of ¾” board material that sit on a wall. There are several options for hooks that can be used for any space.

Select one of the hooks from the Cleat drop down in the ribbon toolbar. Left click on a design zone (or between partitions inside a component)to place a single hook.
If placing multiples, scroll the mouse wheel (or use the up/down keys on the keyboard) before placingto change the number of hooks; The cleat board automatically expands to accommodate. Left click to place on an empty wall, or inside of a component, at the desired height and location.

There are three different areas of a cleat hook that can be edited. There will be a different right-click menu depending on what the cursor is hovering over. The images below demonstrate what the options are when hovering over each:

The cleat can be resized by clicking on one of the corners (nodes) and dragging it to the desired size. Double click and hold to manually reposition or move the cleat.

Users can also add more pitches (right click>add pitch) for multiple rows of hooks, or paste a pitch that has been copied (see below). Evenly Space Pitch will move the location of the pitch(es) so it fits evenly within the vertical space of the hook board. Deleting the cleat (right click>delete) will remove the entire cleat - Pitch, hooks and all.

The Hook Board Properties [Part] is where users can:
Change the Cleat Material (defaults to the main material)
Manually type in a new Width and Height
Adjust the location of the cleat on the wall (Distance from Wall or Floor)
Change the Offset from Wall if placing the cleat away from the wall if mounting it on a back panel or obstruction.
Add or remove dimensions around the cleat (Display Bot/All Dims). These may get in the way when designing, but are helpful for placement and installation.

Users can move the location of the pitch (the line of hooks) on the hook board if there is enough room. To move a pitch, hover over it until it turns yellow then double click. Move the curser to the desired location and click once to place.

When right clicking on the pitch, there will be the following options:

Deleting the pitch (right click>delete) will remove the pitch and all of the hooks. If there is only one pitch, it will delete the entire cleat board.
Individual hooks
Hooks can be added by selecting Add Hook and left clicking to place the selected hook on the pitch. This will only work if there is room to add additional hooks. . More information is found below. <link> To evenly space hooks along the pitch, select Evenly Space Hook.

Users can also Copy Pitch and paste it (right click on hook board>paste pitch) if there is enough height on the hook board. This is a quick and easy way to replicate a pitch layout. Keep in mind that users may need to move the hooks so whatever is to be stored there has the appropriate space.

The pitch part properties are very simple and will offer another method for positioning a pitch on a hook board (although double clicking to move is quicker and easier).
HOOKS
Hooks can be moved around on a pitch if there is enough room. Users may need to resize the hook board (width) to accommodate. Double click and hold to move hooks.

When right clicking on the hook, there will be the options for Part Properties or Delete. Delete will only delete the individual hook. Hold shift + click on multiple hooks to delete more than one.

To add additional hooks, right click on the pitch <link> and select Add Hook. This will only work if there is room to add additional hooks. Left click to place the hook on the pitch.

Before left placing the hook, users can scroll the mouse wheel or use the up/down keyboard keys to scroll through various options. Left click to place. The option to add hooks remains on until the user right click to turn the function off.
In the hook Properties [Part] users can edit the hook style to change the Type of hook, the Finish of the hook(s), and adjust the horizontal positioning if preferred (an alternative to double click to move).

The table below shows the different cleat hook options (not to scale). All hooks are available in finishes that coordinate with other metal parts such as poles, baskets, and hardware.
