Filler is a side treatment that can be used either for aesthetic purposes or to fill in gaps between components and walls (especially with uneven walls). They are typically required when designing with wall-to-wall backing or when a component containing doors, drawers, hampers or other pull-outs is next to a side wall. Filler is always added AFTER placing components in the design zone. Filler is often added with scribe.

If moving or resizing the component, the filler will automatically adjust to the new available space if it is still within the minimum and maximum.

NOTE: If only doing filler to the wall, without scribe, there will be an additional labor charge as the installer has to cut and contour the filler to the wall manually. The charge will appear in the Parts List under the Filler heading. |
