titleTips for a successful installation
  • Make sure the steel motor tube is cut to the proper length (-1.5” less than section width) before going to the job site.

  • Install the motor tube and pivot arms at the proper heights/depths to prevent any binding issues.

    • Start out by marking the height of the motor tube location to be 1-2” from the underside of the top shelf.

      • 2” to center will allow maximum hanging height

      • This will determine the height to mount the rotating arms.

    • Install the rotating arms approx. 9” from the back of the pars-(will be close to flush to front of 14”d pars),

      • while maintaining 1.5-3” from the clothes pole (center to center) below where the motor tube will be.

    • Install the motor tube and straps about 6” behind the rotating arms (near the back wall).

  • Power source is required.

    • May need cable clips to secure the power cord to back underside of the top shelf (depending on power source location)

    • Power cord must be on the left side of the motor tube.

    • Grommet as needed to allow cord to plug in.

*

Disregard the wood box in photo 9 and 10 as we have never built those to cover the motor tube, the tube is paintable.

  1. Check to ensure everything is functioning as intended.

  2. Upon the final walkthrough with the customer, spend an extra moment teaching the customer how to use the new lift.
