Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must beworn at all times when handling material and operating the power tools mentioned throughout this process. Review the PPE Matrix for further guidance.

• If the partitions have not been pre-drilled, refer to the elevationfor the plate placement and use a Hinge Jig to pre-drill the plate holes.

  • If drilling for inset doors, add an addition 13/16” to the placement of the front hole.

• If screws are not included, mount the plates using 9mm Euro Screws.

• Refer to the Hinge Reference Guide for hinge and overlay specifications

• Start with the top most hinge, or the furthest left if installing flip-up doors

• Place the front bar on the hinge against the “hook” on the mounting plate. The hinge should be centered on the mounting plate.

• Push the door toward the hinge plate while pushing the back of the hinge into the hinge plate until it snaps closed.

• If installing inset doors, place a piece of blue tape on the inside of the door face to create a pull tab as a temporary handle.

• All door and drawer faces should be adjusted to a 1/8” (3mm) gap on the top, bottom and each side.

• All adjacent doors and drawers must have equal gaps at the top, bottom, sides, and between each door.

• Adjust hinges from top to bottom, or left to right (if flip up doors).

• Adjust your vertical seams first, then adjust your horizontal door alignment, Lastly adjust the in/out of the hinges.

• Refer to the elevationto determine the location of the handle/knob.

• Using a tape measure, locate the center point of the handle’s location and make a light pencil mark. Unless otherwise indicated on the elevation, this should be 1/4” from the edge of the door.

• For handles:

  • Determine the center-to-center measurement on the handle.

  • Divide this measurement in half. This will be the measurement on each side of the center point.

  • Measure the placement of your handle attachment points on either said of the center point and make a light pencil mark.

  • Hold your handle to the marks made and ensure the marks line up with the center of the holes. Make adjustments as needed.

• Create a light X mark where the holes are the be drilled.

• Using the drill-bit size indicated in the decorative hardware guide, drill holes for the handle/knob.

• Attach the handle/knob using included screws or screws indicated in the decorative hardware guide.

Certification Steps:

1. All hinges have been installed and connected.

2. Doors open and close easily and as intended.

3. All doors are adjusted and aligned to line up with each other and, if applicable, with other doors/drawers.

4. Handles/knobs/pulls are installed in the appropriate location as per the system elevations.

• When installing tall doors, place your foot under the door to help hold it steady while attaching the hinges.

• Do not leave the middle hinge until last; doing so will make attaching this hinge more difficult.

• Disable the soft-close mechanism of the middle hinge to prevent a lag in the door closing. To do this, toggle the black switch in the center of the hinge once mounted.
