Attendees who do not have the required items and a working version of ClosetCADPro will NOT be able to participate in the sessions. We cannot troubleshoot technical issues at the start of the trainings at the expense of those who are fully prepared. |

If you have any questions, concerns or issues doing any of these steps, there is an OPTIONAL ClosetCADPro Set-Up Office Hours held the Monday (9am PST/12pm EST)before the first day of live CAD training. This session is entirely devoted to assisting our learners on getting the program up and running! If you did not receive a Zoom invite, please e-mail Katie Black (kblack@calclosets.com).

- Open ClosetCADPro & ensure your CAD key is working (see Step 1 above)
- Bookmark the ClosetCADPro User Manual in your browser for easy access. If you are unsure how to do this, information can be found by searching “how to save bookmarks in <what you use> browser” on Google or similar.
- Read, practice and/or complete the following in the ClosetCADPro User Manual:
- Read and practice the following in the CAD Manual:
- 01. Getting Started (all pages)
- 02. Navigate ClosetCADPro(all pages)
- Set personal information in the “Admin” tab
- Familiarize yourself with CAD “Help” tab & external help articles
- 03. Start a Project (all pages)
- Complete the following Practice Exercises in the CAD Manual:
- Ex. 3-1 The Setup Wizard
- Ex. 3-2 Drawing Aids & Snap Settings
- Ex. 3-3 Copy & Edit Space Details
- Work with your manager to cover file management protocol at your location (time varies).
Materials for Training
To attend the live session, please ensure that you have:
- Personal computer with power cord (PC running Windows only, no Macs!)
- Computer mouse
- ClosetCADPro installed, tested, and CAD key set up
- Zoom installed, tested
- If you do not have the Zoom invites, e-mail Katie Black (kblack@calclosets.com) prior to the start of the sessions

If using an iPad or similar to run two screens (if you do not have duel monitors), have Zoom installed on there too. This will also require a way to access the Zoom link from the second device. |

Learner Setup
To get the most from the corporate-led CAD training, it is strongly advised to have a manager or veteran designer available to answer questions and physically assist during the live session. Therefore, taking the training from a showroom or office is recommended.
