ADD TV

You Users can add a TV to enhance your a media center, office or any other space to look more realistic. You will see ‘TV/Media’ under the ‘Tools. This is done by selecting Add TV under the Tools section of the Elevation ribbon toolbar.

as they are purely for aesthetics.

 

Just as you would with a board, click and drag to your desired size. If you right click, you can copy the television, or choose from basic size ratios (standard or widescreen).

You can move the TV by clicking on it and dragging it to your desired location.

 

 

To change that will be shown on the TV, adjust the size ratio, and change the offsets, right click and go into the ‘Media Properties’. Right now, there are limited selections, but more may be added later.

 

Right click to ‘Delete’ the media, if desired.

Adding Room Objects

You can add 3D room objects to your designs to help enhance the 3D views for your customer. There are purely for aesthetic reasons and will not be recognized when you are designing.

 
Left click to place in an empty section of design zone. Left click and pull the nodes to resize the TV. Move by clicking and holding.

While this is strictly a tool for presentation, and not to be used to design around (base all design around the actual measurements), users can estimate the size of the TV by looking at the label in the upper left corner.

The right click menu will provide options to access to the properties menu, copy or Delete. There is also an option to change the aspect ratio.

Snap to Surface directly places the TV on the next closest surface below, whether that be a component or the floor.

The options in Properties [Media] include the back offset (can be changed in placing over backing, etc), another option to change the aspect ratio, and the ability to change what is shown on the TV.

Stand will add a stand to the TV so that it can be “placed” on top of a component versus wall mounted. This doesn't show in 3D

ROOM OBJECTS

Users can add 3D room objects to a design. There are purely aesthetic and will not be recognized when designing around them - They may also no be true to scale, so be cautious when using them in the space.

To add a 3D room object, select any of the options (right) under in the Room Object’ pulldown (left) while in the PLAN view.

Left click to place the object.

To move the object, single left click and hold. To delete ita single one, right click add and select Delete’.

Delete. Delete All Room Objects is a quick way to remove all of them at one time.


In the Properties [Part], users can change the dimensions or rotate the room object if desired. This is measured in degrees.
