Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must beworn at all times when handling material and operating the power tools mentioned throughout this process. Review the PPE Matrix for further guidance.

  1. Locate and inspect all parts.

  • The bottom shelf should be drilled on the top side and the top shelf should be drilled on the bottom side.For the bottom shelf, ensure that the top surface is pre-drilled to accommodate dowels. On the top shelf, make sure it is pre-drilled on the bottom side to align with the dowels on the bottom shelf.

  • The vertical shelf should be drilled on both ends.

  1. Place dowels in both ends of the vertical upright.

  • Place a small dollop of wood glue into the pre-drilled holes on the upright prior to inserting the dowels to secure the dowels in place.

If Applicable: Trim the length of the dowel(s) to ensure a tight fit between the pieces.

  1. Secure the bottom fixed shelf between the partitions, ensuring the pre-drilled holes are facing upwards.

  2. Place the vertical upright dowels into the pre-drilled holes on the bottom fixed shelf.

  3. Install the top fixed shelf.

  • Once all vertical uprights have been inserted, ensure the pre-drilled holes on the top fixed shelf are facing downward and align the holes with the dowels and the cams with the Rafix pins.

  • Carefully tap down on the top shelf to secure in place.
