Design templates are entire pre-designed walls of two or more components that are available in a variety of orientations and widths. They are meant to simplify and accelerate the design process. They help deliver designs and pricing to the customer efficiently and accurately, and can help designers in training understand efficient layouts.

The template options are dictated by the current template library. For example, start by selecting the Closet - Reach In template library in the ELV ribbon toolbar.
Design templates are added in elevation view via right click menu. Right click on an empty design zone and select Add Design Template.
