The status bar is a new feature with CAD 3.0.
The status bar is located appear at the bottom of the design window. Similar to the Job Manager, without opening a separate window, the status bar will constantly provide information such as the material, room type, quote and lead times. It also houses the Review Pane and Property Menus.
If the Job Manager is open, the quote and lead times in the Status Bar will automatically update.
Otherwise, users can refresh the status after making design changes by clicking on the circular arrow icon.
The reason it does not automatically update is to reduce memory usage when using the program, which can slow everything down.
If the quote is hidden, turn it on by right-clicking on the status bar. Anything with a check mark next to it will be shown.
