Countertops can be added to any component under a certain height (determined in the backend, may vary by location) but are most commonly added to base cabinets. To add a countertop, go to the Countertop section in Properties [Component]. Select On Auto-Join as the Countertop option.

The spot height will change to accommodate the change in countertop thickness.

Always select On Auto-Join in the countertop section of component properties to get a seamless countertop. The components must be the same depth and height to avoid countertop seams between components when Auto Join is selected.

However, there will still be a seam if the countertop is longer than the length of the material.

The On option will just add an individual countertop per component, so you will have multiple seams if there are more than one component. Users may also receive a warning X on the countertops.

The Type will dictate the material or finish options, and the material selected as the Countertop Finish will dictate the countertop thickness.

Countertops can be extended to walls or other components, but otherwise the side overhangs are edited in the Left/Right drop downs. The Overhang Front can also be edited in the proper field.

To apply the same countertops to the other base cabinets, make sure the boxes to the left are checked, and use the Apply Properties To.. options. Select is suggested as it will prevent countertops from accidentally being added to components.
