The Accessories drop down includes options for adding the following partition-mounted parts:

  • Tie Rack (T)

  • Scarf Rack (S)

  • Belt Rack (B)

  • Garment Rod (G)

  • Valet Pins (P)

  • Pull Out Mirror (M)

  • Par Hook (H)

These parts are all literally mounted to the side of a partition, inside or out. Valet pins can also be placed on the front edge of a fixed shelf.

Select one of the above parts from the Accessories pull down. Move the cursor to a partition, making note of the desired height will shows a bracketed dimension (such as 62” tall). It will round this number to the closest available bore hole. The user must consider how much space is needed for the items that will be using these accessories.*

Left click to place.

If wanting to place another similar accessory, scroll the mouse wheel to change between the different options. This will save time from having to select a whole new accessory from the pull-down. The lettered abbreviation will give hint to the part.

This feature only works to switch between belt, tie, scarf and garment rods.

*Proper placement is important for these parts. While most can be moved (the valet pin cannot move at all, and others may require skill to move), placing them where they can be easily accessed, items have enough space, and where the parts can pull out fully without obstruction is very important. Consult a sales manager or veteran designer if you have questions about spacing or location.

Users can also pull these parts out in the 3D view, which provides a realistic representation for the client. While hovering the cursor over the part, look for the little hand before left clicking to hold. Move the cursor back and forth.

PROPERTIES

Par-mounted accessories are edited by right clicking and going into the Properties [Part].

For most of these par-mounted accessories, users can change the Type without deleting the accessory and adding a new one. This is true between the belt, tie, scarf, and garment rod. The Style and Finish can also be adjusted to better fit the space or design, and options will be specific to the type. Depth will auto-adjust based on the available space, but can be changed if the option is available.

Offsets are added if placing par-mounted accessories behind doors. More information on cleats/offsets can be found here <LINK>.

You can also globally change the finish of ALL accessories in the Materials <LINK> tab. Note that this will apply to poles, sliding accessories, shoe rails, cleat hooks, door and drawer hardware, baskets and TAG accessories.

These changes can be applied to other accessories, and it will apply to any par-mounted part that is listed under Type as they are from the same family.
