How to Adobe Sign Video

 

 

Step by Step (in Adobe Sign)

 

  1. Ensure that the signer in the top right corner under “Recipients” is the person that you would like to assign the tag to by clicking the arrow on the right

  2. Use the list on the right side of the screen under Recipients, you can add any Signature or Initial fields to the contract where necessary click the drop down arrows to find the field types you wish to add

    1. Use Signature fields to click and drag “Signature” and “Initial” tags on the the pages that you uploaded (ex. Customer Drawings/Plans)

    2. Use Signer info fields to add “Date Signed” Tags if necessary

    3. Use Data Fields to add “Text Input” (Text Notes) (you must double-click a text note and select multi-line entry to wrap text)

  3. You should fill in any fields that are in the contract and NOT labeled as required before going to the next step. To fill in, double click the box and enter the info under “Default Value”

  4. Once you have added all of the fields, you the blue “Sign, then Send” button in the lower right corner

  5. Click the yellow Start button on the left, and click the signature field that says, “Click to Sign”, then click, “Apply”

  6. Hit the yellow next button and then proceed to click and sign or fill in the fields that are assigned to you.

    1. You can use the blue “Next required Field” button in the top right but this will only take you to required fields so be careful and make sure you filled in everything.

  7. Once all fields are signed, use the “Click to Sign” button

  8. Click the blue “Ok” button, and the window will close and you will be back in Salesforce

    1. Close the California Closets Contract tab (Unless you are going to “Host Signing”) and go to the Opportunity Page

  9. On the right side of the Opportunity Page, you will see the “Payments” Component underneath the Nintex DocGen and Adobe Sign consoles (You may have to scroll)

  10. Click the arrow on the right of the Payments Component and “Send Payment via Email”

  11. A window will pop up where you can enter in the email of the person you would like to receive the request, and the amount will default to 50% but you can alter the amount if necessary (ex. client wishes to pay more, or your location does not require a 50% deposit)

 

 

Note:

  • You can double-click a tag to reassign it if its already on a page by changing “Assigned To”

  • You can right click or select and hit the ”delete” key on your keyboard to delete unwanted tags

  • You must click and hold the right bottom corner or side of a tag to re-size it

  • Tags with a Red Asterisk are required and must be signed to complete the document
