Layered Countertop

A layered countertop is essentially two countertop on top of each other, often times a glass countertop over a TFL countertop. This is desirable in certain designs, such as a bar or vanity area, in case of liquids or ease of cleaning.

A layered countertop is added onto a component that already has a regular countertop turned on.

In Component Properties, ensure a regular countertop is turned to “On Auto-Join” or “On”. Then, select Layered Countertop and check the box to the right of the field to turn it on. Select the desired material in the Finish dropdown.

The Elevation and 3D views will show the layered materials.

Layered countertops cannot be adjusted in the Materials tab - This will only apply to the base countertop material.
