Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must beworn at all times when handling material and operating the power tools mentioned throughout this process. Review the PPE Matrix for further guidance.

  1. Determine the height of the board based on the elevation. If this is not noted, reach out to the design consultant.

  2. On the board, measure from top of the panel down to the center of the pre-drilled hole in the bottom track. Note this measurement.

  3. Repeat this measurement for bottom bottom track. Note this measurement.

  4. Remove tape to separate the pieces of the Z cleat and remove bottom track

  5. Measure from floor to indicated height of accessory

  6. Transfer both cleat marks to the wall.

  7. Draw a level line for both bottom cleats.

  8. Place the bottom cleat on the wall, with the line centered on the holes.

  9. Determine location of studs for securement points. Drill for any toggles using a 1/2” drill bit.

All holes on the cleat should be used for securement. At least 2 studs should be hit for securement.

  1. Secure using 2.5” screws and toggles through all holes on the bottom cleats.

  2. Hook the board onto the bottom cleats.

  1. Complete the full installation of the adjacent or surrounding system.

  2. Measure the area to ensure the tack board will fit.

  3. Place circle of liquid nails on the back of the tack board.

  4. Place the tack board on the wall.

  5. Secure in place using 1 1/4” nails. Ensure they sit below the fabric so they are not seen.

  1. Inspect the installation and complete any touch ups if necessary.

  2. If there are no more components to install, remove all stickers/labels.

  3. If there are no more components to install, complete the clean up process.

  4. If there are no more components to install, complete the Professional Installation Experience by walking through the space with the customer and deliveringthe final product.
