Marker Boards

  1. Determine the height of the board based on the elevation. If this is not noted, reach out to the design consultant.

  2. On the board, measure from top of the panel down to the center of the pre-drilled hole in the bottom z-cleat. Note this measurement on a piece of paper.

  3. Repeat taking this measurement for the bottom z-cleat. Note this measurement on a piece of paper.

  4. Remove tape to separate the pieces of the Z cleat and remove bottom track

  5. Measure from floor to elevation’s indicated height of the accessory.

  6. Referring to your noted measurements, mark both cleat measurements on the wall.

  7. Draw a level line for both bottom cleats.

  8. Place the bottom cleat on the wall, with the line centered on the holes.

  9. Determine location of studs for securement points. Drill for any toggles using a 1/2” drill bit.

All holes on the cleat should be used for securement. At least 2 studs should be hit for securement.

  1. Secure using 2 1/2” screws and toggles through all holes on the bottom cleats.

  2. Hook the board onto the bottom cleats.

Fabric/Tack Boards

  1. Complete the full installation of the adjacent or surrounding system.

  2. Measure the area for the board to ensure the tack board will fit.

  3. Place circles of liquid nails on the back of the tack board; one in each corner.

  4. Place the tack board on the wall and hold in place.

  5. Secure in place using 1 1/4” nails. Ensure they sit below the fabric so they are not seen.
