Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times when handling material and operating the power tools mentioned throughout this process. Review the PPE Matrix for further guidance.
Review plans and ensure you have the proper hardware.
Locate the high spot in the floor where the doors are being installed.
Confirm the top track location. Screw the track into the header.
Using a level or laser level, work straight down from the top track to locate the bottom track.
If the track is installed on carpet, the track will need to be screwed to the floor and the same process of placing shims is to be followed.
If Applicable: Ensure the soft close mechanism is attached to the top of the door.
Insert the top of the door into the back track and lift it up into the track. Push the bottom in to land on the top of the bottom back track.
Ensure the wheel locks are released to make contact with the bottom track.
Ensure the door moves left to right.
Repeat steps 5-7 for each door on the tracks. Always start with the back track and move forward.
With the doors in place and functioning, adjust them to align with each other.
Once adjusted, open and close the doors to test functionality.
