Virtuoso is a cantilevered shelving system that uses slotted brackets to hang on a vertical foundational piece. The foundational supports are covered with vertical backing, and shelving is added in front of the backing pieces. The shelving material is only available in thicker 1.125”+ materials and the system is available in three standard depths.

...

Virtuoso components may look and be installed different than the classic component yet adding and adjusting them in ClosetCADPro are very similar to classic systems. They move, center, array, etc. like other components, and materials are selected the same way.

Info

Virtuoso components automatically have a top and bottom shelf, as well as trim on the outside edges.

To adjust the heightof the virtuoso component, hover over the top and look for a two-sided arrow. Click, hold and pull the top of the unit to change. Users can also change the height in Component Properties.

...

To change the width of a virtuoso component, either click and drag the partition, adjust in component properties, or manually change the value on the dimension label. This, again, is consistent with adjusting classic components.

...

The Panel Width is the overall width while the cabinet width will indicate the width of parts. The Cabinet Width will automatically adjust with changes to the Panel Width.

Info

The dimension above the Virtuoso component refers to the panel width. Parts, such as drawers, will have a smaller width and will be represented by a separate dimension line.

...

Virtuoso components have component properties that are similar to a classic component, although it’s a lot more consolidated as there are many fields that are not applicable for Virtuoso. Here, users can adjust properties such as heights, depths, widths, finishes.

ADD VIRTUOSO PARTS

To add parts to a virtuoso component, use the part menus in the ribbon toolbar. Users can select an adjustable shelf (scroll for a multi-shelf group), hanging pole, or drawers for example. As with a classic system, left click to add them to a component.

...

Virtuoso essentially has one type of shelf. Virtuoso shelving is adjustable by the client unless they must be stationary due to other parts above/below. Therefore, users can select either Fixed or Adjustable shelves from the pull-down to add and it will achieve the same result.

...

Info

ClosetCADPro will automatically change changes any unsupported options (such as glass, slanted, or pull out) to the correct shelf if adding something not supported.

Shelves will want to align if adding to components next to each other. If they are close but not perfectly aligned, users will see the shelves turn red as a warning.

The warning will disappear once the shelves are perfectly lined up.

When adding drawers or doors to a component, vertical partitions are automatically added where needed (right). There are required to hold hinges and drawer glides.

...

If wanting to place shelving behind a set of doors, place the door prior to adding shelves that will sit behind it. Users can add shelves individually or as a multi- shelf group, and they behave much like shelving in a Classic component.
