Slide & Face Installation Steps

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times when handling material and operating the power tools mentioned throughout this process. Review the PPE Matrix for further guidance.

  1. Separate and install drawer runners.

Click for visuals and more information
  • Take the runners you have and separate them by left and right. Refer to the R and L markings on the drawer runners to assist in identifying their sides.

  • Set them in place where they go.

  • Line up the runners with the pre-drilled holes on the partition and screw them in place.

  • The 4th hole from the front of the runner should align with the front pre-drilled hole on the partition.

    • This will shift if the component is drilled for additional inset drawers.

  1. Attach the drawer front to the front of the drawer frame.

Click for more information and visuals
  • Peel yellow backing from the tape.

  • Place the drawer front center on the frame.

    • If the drawer front is pre-drilled, line up the holes with the holes on the frame.

  • Press firmly to adhere.

  • If Applicable: Insert glass into the slot between the frame and the drawer front.

  • Secure the drawer front (and glass) with included screws.

  1. Install the drawer box on the runners.

 Click for more information
  • Pull the drawer runners out and set the drawer box on top, aligning the runners with the grooves on the bottom of the box.

  • Close the drawer to allow the runners to click into place

  • Test functionality by opening and closing the drawer twice.

The drawer frame must be inset with the partition, and the drawer face should have the correct overlay as indicated on the elevation (full, half, inset). Drawer runners may need to be shifted in order to achieve this.

  1. Install the inserts/accessories.
