Switch Components

Users can easily change the type of component in a design by selecting a different option from the Templates library. The Dynamic Copy feature can also be used to paste over any existing components in a similar manner.
Both features behave in a similar way. Click on a template or make a Dynamic Copy of an existing component, and hover over another existing component. Left click to “drop” the template on top of the existing component to replace it with the new one.

The template or dynamic copy will automatically adjust to the width, height and depth of whatever component it is replacing. If the original component has a different mounting type than the replacement component, just pay special attention to placement.
