Accessories Tab

The Accessories tab allows the user to add accessories or parts from the Essentials or Everyday line.

The California Closets Essentials™ product line is a collection of non-installed product that can be added to design in ClosetCadPro.

The Everyday System is a line that allows a customer to create, and install, their own modular storage solutions and reconfigure in countless way. The Everyday System was created in collaboration with Martha Stewart.

To add, click on the Accessories tab.


From the ribbon toolbar, first select the Collection to pick accessories from. This will determine options that will appear in the other drop down menus.

Take note if the Collection selection includes shipping options, and select accordingly.


There are a series of filters to narrow down the types of non-installed accessories, although the user doesn't have to use them. There are categories for hangers, jewelry trays, mirrors, etc. Filter even further by selecting the type, range (may auto-populate), and finish. The Item drop down will reflect product(s) based on what is selected in the filters - It may auto-fill if the user has filtered all the way down.


Click Add Selected Item to add the accessory to a design. Accessories will show in a table on the screen, providing a great preview image, part number and description of the specific product.

Adjust the quantity using the and + buttons or by manually typing a number in. Repeat as many times and with as many products as desired. The subtotal will calculate at the bottom.



To remove an item, click on the X next to that line item. Selecting Clear All in the ribbon toolbar will quickly delete all items. To add a promotion, click Options.



Selecting Print Preview will make the main page better formatted for printing by eliminating the adjustment buttons and making it look a bit more polished.



In Job Manager, the accessories appear as a single, separate line item at the top. Always make edits and adjustments using the Accessories tab.


Note that these accessories not associated with any one design – They are universal to the project. If they are to be designated to a certain space or location within a design, or to help the customer understand where they go, use text notes.

If you are ONLY selling these accessories on their own without a design, you will still have to have a “blank” or empty space in order to upload to CC Dashboard.

All sales must be facilitated in CAD and not in the “Invoice Only” in Dashboard (CAD will not allow otherwise). Remember to manually delete the empty room from the sales order in the invoice tab or it will affect reporting.
