Selecting Front Hardware

Unlike drawers, doors do not always require hardware to open them, therefore there won’t be a missing hardware warning if none is selected. Hardware can be added and edited in Door/Drawer/other front Properties or in the Materials tab.

The door section of the Materials tab has a Hardware dropdown.
This will apply the selected hardware to ALL drawers in the particular design.

If using the properties menu, selections are made under the Hardware heading. Users must first select the Type of hardware and additional fields will appear.

Depending what Type is selected, the Style and Finish options will vary. These handles automatically have part numbers, pricing and lead times associated with them and will appear in the Parts List with this information. Users can also select the hardware Location, which dictates if the hardware sits towards the top, center, or bottom of the face (this may be edited based on the front style or if it is an upper cabinet, base cabinet, etc.).

Rotate will turn the handle 90 degrees for a different aesthetic.

Users may also opt to select Custom hardware and input the part number and pricing manually for it to show on the Parts List. For more information on inputting custom hardware, click HERE (note that a CC360 login is required to access).

Manually Position Decorative Hardware

Users have the ability to manually position face hardware (handles, knobs, finger pulls) on any part with a front or face. This is found in Properties > Front > Hardware > Misc > Manually Position.

Once Manually Positioned is checked or turned on, users can adjust the Position X (horizontal, side to side) and Position Y (vertical, up to down) independently. These dimensions are on-center, meaning it is measured to the middle of the handle or finger pull, or where the hole will be drilled for a knob.

Errors will be coming soon to signal if hardware cannot be drilled or placed where indicated.

Drill Notation is a label used by purchasing and the shop and DOES NOT have to be turned on.
