Overview

At California Closets, we strongly recommend that you set up your Microsoft Authenticator app for the best experience possible. Setting up the Authenticator app on this new device will help speed up the login to your other Microsoft apps, including Outlook.

Setting up the Microsoft Authenticator app

To set up your Authenticator app, follow the instructions below:

1. Lauch your phone’s app store and search for “Microsoft Authenticator” and install the app onto your phone.

2. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app, which looks like this:

3. Accept the Privacy Agreement

   Open

   

4. Tap Continue on the next screen.

5. On the next screen, choose Add work or school account.

6. Sign in with your Cal Closets Microsoft account.

7. Again, you may need to authenticate via MFA from another device.

8. On the Sign-in with your phone screen, tap Continue.

9. Then tap Register.

10. If prompted to use Face-ID, tap Allow.

11. Allow notifications to ensure you are receiving MFA prompts on this device.

12. Your Authenticator setup is now complete.

13. You may now begin to use your phone for work.
