Installing apps on your company-issued iPhone

Overview

Your company-issued iPhone allows you to download and install apps approved by California Closets. Follow the guide below to configure and use the Microsoft Company Portal app to download the apps you need to use.


Configuring the Company Portal app (first time) 

  1. Open the Comp Portal (Company Portal) app to get started

  2. Tap Sign in to log in with your Cal Closets account

  3. If you have already set up the Authenticator App, it will open, and you can select your account to log in.

  4. After you log in, you will be taken back to the Company Portal app.

Installing Apps from Company Portal

  1. Tap Apps in the bottom left of the screen.

  2. You will see a list of available apps.

  3. Tap on an app you wish to install, and then tap Install.

  4. You will see a status of Pending show up once the app download has started.

  5. If you back to your home screen, you can see the app is installing, and

  6. The icon will update once the app has finished installing.

  7. You can now tap the app to open and log into start using the app.

Updating Apps

  1. Apps downloaded from the Company Portal app will automatically stay up to date.

  2. You do not need to manually update these apps.
