The Everstyle line of drawers, originally rolled out with the Paxton Collection, can be a feature of Classic design. The following information will be valid if the user has “Classic” selected as the space collection (either from the Setup Wizard or Space Properties).

To add, go to the Parts section of the ribbon pulldown in the Elevation view and select Everstyle from the Pull-Outs drop down. Left click on the desired part to select it. Left click to place within a component.

Everstyle parts are only available in standard widths so they cannot be placed in components that are not 18, 24, 30 or 36 inches wide. The user will get a warning if placing in a non-standard width.

The standard depths for Everstyle parts are 14” and 20” deep, although not all parts are available in both depths. If the component is over or between these depths, the part will adjust to the next size down. For example, an 18” deep component will auto-adjust to a 14” deep part. If the depth is not available, a warning will appear.

There may be a warning if the Everstyle parts are placed too closely together. Move up to allow the user to put their hands in between to open, or add a face/handle.

Right click on the part to move and/or delete. This is consistent with all parts within CAD. Users can also double click on a part to quickly move it.

Everstyle parts are realistically represented in the 3D view. Click, hold, and move the cursor back and forth to open or close.

EVERSTYLE PART PROPERTIES

Edit these parts using Properties [Parts] from the right click menu. Once open, the Part Code is located at the very top of the box in the title.

TYPE: Quickly changes the type of Everstyle part, instead of deleting and re-adding. See more information below.

FINISHES & FABRICS: Change the metal, front color and fabric options for that part.

DRAWER MODE: Adds a true drawer face to the Everstyle product. Allows users to select overlays and align more with other drawers within the design. More information on Drawer Mode found HERE.

INTEGRATED PULL & HARDWARE: An integrated pull is a piece of hidden hardware along the bottom of the small face that allows users to open Everstyle pull-outs. Alternatively, select from a curated selection of knobs and/or handles for the Everystyle drawers. If using an integrated pull, you do not have to select hardware - You can use either/or as an option. More information on Integrated versus Decorative Hardware found HERE.

DEPTH: Change between 14” and 20” deep, if available for that part. See the Standard Product Guide for more information and specifications.

CHANGING TYPE

The options available in the Type section of Properties [Part] will be filtered based on the height of the original part. For example, if starting with a certain type, users can change it to any of the grouped options seen in the image below (note that some parts are 20” deep only).

At a glance, here is a list of drawers that are categorized together under the same spacing height. If in the same category, they will appear in the Type drop down.

EVERSTYLE LABELS/CODES

Labels can be turned on to quickly see what kind of Everstyle drawers are in the design. Everstyle drawers use codes to identify them. This is done by going to the Display section of the ribbon toolbar and checking the box next to Labels (unchecked means the feature is turned off).

While users may not have labels turned on when dealing with or designing in front of a client, it is helpful to quickly understand what parts are in the component from the Elevation view.

For more information on Everstyle parts, see the Standard Product Guide or the Paxton Template & Design Guide.
