Process Steps

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times when handling material and operating the power tools mentioned throughout this process. Review the PPE Matrix for further guidance.

  1. Prepare for the installation

  2. Hang all pieces of rail for the lower sections and install all components.

  • Install the floor-based systems first. Ensure the entire lower system is installed, level, and plumb.

  1. Hang all pieces of rail for the upper sections and install all components.

  • Follow the floor-based system standards when installing the upper sections.

  • If Applicable: Secure the top cap or countertop between the systems.

  • If Applicable: Use a dowel or biscuit to connect the upper and lower sections together.

  1. Complete the installation.

Final Steps & Delivery

  1. Inspect the installation and complete any touch ups if necessary.

  2. If there are no more components to install, remove all stickers/labels.

  3. If there are no more components to install, complete the clean up process.

  4. If there are no more components to install, complete the Professional Installation Experience by walking through the space with the customer and delivering the final product.

Certification Steps:

  1. All lower systems are installed first following floor-based standards.

  2. All upper systems are installed following floor-based standards.

  3. Lower and upper systems are connected to each other.
