Hampers

There are additional part options in the Pull-Outs menu that behave similar to each other but have their own identities and options. This includes hampers.

Select the desired Hamper (pull or tilt) from the Parts menu. They both have size requirements, so stick to standard component widths to fit.

A tilt-out, either with bags or a basket, has a face attached and is hinged at the bottom.

The pull-out option does not have a face, but rather slides out on glides.

Each hamper comes in at the minimum front height, but by scrolling the mouse wheel (or up/down arrow keyboard keys), the space underneath the hamper will increase (pull-out) or the size of the front will increase/decrease (tilt-out). Left click to insert the hamper into your component.

This can also be changed using the + and - buttons on the front of the hamper (tilt-out) after it has been placed.

Once placed, the hampers will have a label on the front indicating the type, size ad orientation. Hampers move and delete like other parts.

In the 3D View, click on the tilt-out hampers to open/close them, or look for the hand when hovering over pull-out hampers and click, hold and move the cursor to open/close.

HAMPER PROPERTIES

The options found in the Properties [Part] will differ for each hamper style, but users can switch between the Types without deleting them first. The Finish is specific to the frame or basket. Hampers with a basket may have the option for a Basket Liner.

If the part is a tilt-out hamper with a front, users can also adjust properties for the front type, finish, hardware and hinges much like in door or drawer properties (not shown). This option will automatically coordinate with other Drawer fronts if already applied.

Offsets are used if placing behind doors.
