Washers and Dryers can be added via the Obstructions drop-down menu while in Plan View. There is also an option for a Washer Outlet Box, which are also commonly referred to as a washing machine hookup.
Select one of the options and left click to place into the design.
Once added, these obstructions will show in all views - Plan, elevation and 3D. Click to enlarge images.

Washers, dryers and washer outlet boxes will only show in 3D if using WebGL. Otherwise they will look more like Generic obstructions.
Obstructions can be moved in plan or elevation view using a single or double click.
These obstructions are very realistic and will show in the elevation view, which means components will recognize them so users can much more easily design around them.
All three obstructions have similar properties. To edit, click on the obstruction (in either view) to access the properties menu. Users can also right click on the obstruction to access.
Dimensions: Users can change the width, height and depth of the obstructions to match what was measured at the home.
Position: This is where the user can change the back offset (how far it sits away from the back wall), left/right offsets (how far from the side walls it is located) and the bottom offset (which is usually 0, unless you’re stacking the units!).
Clearances: These dimensions (in inches) will dictate how close a component can be placed around the component. For items like these, 2” minimum is usually recommended.
