26. Sending E-mails via Salesforce

The activity tab on the Opportunity page in Salesforce has an e-mail feature. Here’s how to add an attachment or a template!

 Instructions

  1. On the right side of the Opportunity screen under Activity, there is an Email option.

  2. You compose the email like normal, and on the bottom left of the email form, CLICK on the Attachment Icon. You can add as many attachments as you need.

  3. You can also create and insert templates for emails that you send regularly. To create a template, Set the body of the email as you would like it to be for your template, when finished, Click to icon with a paper and a plus symbol, and hit Save as New Template.

  4. The next time you need to send that template, you will hit the same icon and select Insert a template.
