Faceless & Scooped Front Drawers

Faceless and/or scooped drawer fronts are a popular choice for pantries, craft rooms, behind doors, and many other applications. They are a selection in the drawer Properties [Part] menu and they move, edit, and delete like any other drawers. These changes can be applied to other drawers using the Apply properties to.. function at the bottom of the menu.

FACELESS DRAWERS

The option for Faceless is found under the Front heading in the Type drop-down options in drawer part properties. This will remove the physical front from the drawer(s), so the options in drawer properties will reduce as there is no need for front or hardware selections.

Apply to other drawers using the Apply properties to.. function. When adjusting faceless fronts in the part properties, there are still many of the same options (below, left). The user can still select the type of glides, inserts for the drawers, change the size, etc.

SCOOPED FRONT DRAWERS

Adding a scoop to a faceless drawer offers an easy option to open the drawer. After changing the front Type to Faceless, simply check the box next to Scoop.

 There will be a notable change in the 2D elevation and 3D views.
